Currently, medications can not be deleted from the healow app. However, Medications can be listed as hidden. To hide a medication, select the medication you would like to hide by tapping Hide Medication. The medication will now be listed under Hidden Medications. To add a custom medication: 1. In your Meds Cabinet, click the “+” icon in the top-right corner. Two options display: Add New Medication or Request Refill. 2. Select Add New Medication and complete the fields (a red asterisk indicates required fields): 3. When complete, tap the Done button in the top-right corner. The newly added medication will be listed in No Reminders with a “Custom” label. Click Play to view a short video on how to add a custom medication. Yes! The healow app is an extension of the Patient Portal, so when an update is made to the new medication list, you will be alerted the next time you open your app. You will be prompted to select whether you agree to take, are continuing to take, or choosing not to take (stopping) the medication. No, the doctor’s office cannot set up individual reminders on your device. Reminders are set by you in the Meds Cabinet. We recommend that you discuss your medication plan with your doctor, and then create reminders based on that discussion. For additional assistance, please feel free to contact us.
