I recently stopped a medication; will my doctor be alerted?


No, the healow app does not have two-way communication beyond the Messages feature, so it cannot send data back to the doctor’s office. The Meds Cabinet is used only for your personal organization and coordination of the medications you take. During your next appointment, alert your physicians of any medication changes, or call their office if you have concerns.     For additional assistance, please feel free to contact us.

How do I request a refill?


If your doctor’s office allows medication refills from the Patient Portal, you can also do it with the healow app! 1. In your Meds Cabinet, click the “+” icon in the top-right corner.  Two options display: Add New Medication or Request Refill. 2. Select Request Refill 3. Complete the request in the same manner you would for sending a message.              Click Play to view a short video on how to request a refill on a medication.   For additional assistance, please feel free to contact us.    

I’m trying to refill a medication that I entered manually, but I don’t see it. Why?


Only request refills for medications prescribed by the doctor’s office linked to your main account can be refilled. To refill medications from other offices, contact that secondary office or specialist directly to have the medication refilled.     For additional assistance, please feel free to contact us.
